What is it?

Royalcrest Vinyl cladding is extruded from Polyvinyl chloride homopolymer resin giving an extremely tough cladding which will withstand stones, balls, ladders etc.

Is it noisy like plastic cladding?

Royalcrest vinyl, because it has a degree of inbuilt flexibility and because of the application system, means that it will not creak and groan with temperature changes like conventional plastic systems and will not buckle and bow

Will it burn?

Royalcrest is a self extinguishing material which will only support a continuous flame source. It shrinks and does not drip like some conventional plastics. Red Cedar will self ignite at 500°F (260°C). Vinyl will not ignite until it reaches 810°F (432°C).

Any warranty?

Yes - 50 years!

Is it weatherproof?

Royalcrest vinyl will withstand temperatures of minus 30°C, plus 55°C and windspeeds of 150 mph

Is it colourfast?

Royalcrest vinyl colour is saturated through the product and whilst no product in the world is 100% colourfast, the colours of Royalcrest vinyl will still be identifiable in 50 years !

Does it insulate?

Royalcrest vinyl offers additional insulation value and will keep your home warmer in winter but also keeps your home cooler in summer

Does it meet current standards?

Royalcrest vinyl exceeds all Canadian and American building standards and has European Certification from the Centre Scientifique et Technique du Batiment Technical Judement No. 2/98-655 (similar to UK British Board of Agreement Certificate)
